In Rubizhne local authorities began a consultation process with residents<\/span><\/h6>\n

Many trees were destroyed in the city as a result of the drill, and the next stage of the overcoming of the consequences should begin in the spring: the planting of new green plantations. So, the local authorities have decided to find out the citizens’ opinion on how to fix the situation with damaged trees. The public consultation started on January 17 and will last until February 11.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The question is: How to restore damaged planting trees in the city?<\/p>\n

There are several options for arranging plantations (landscaping):<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. to plant new poplar instead of damaged;<\/li>\n
  2. to plant other trees of one species instead of damaged poplar;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Rubizhans\u00a0can express their opinion through the online resource “Your Opinion” at the link: vdmk.org\/4759 <\/a>or by sending an SMS with the text “4759 (space) answer number” to the number (093) 177-00-35 (SMS cost according to the tariff operator).<\/p>\n

    What is public consultation? It is a process of communication between local governments and citizens (stakeholders), through which both sides become aware of different perspectives and proposals. It is an instrument that enables citizens to influence the content of decisions made by local governments.<\/p>\n

    In Rubezhne public consultation is being implemented in cooperation with the Rubizhne City Council, and it started with the support of the head of the Department of Housing and Communal Services – Denis Zherdev.<\/p>\n

    Note<\/strong>. The all-Ukrainian initiative \u201cActive Community\u201d \u2013 is an association of people and social movements for self-organization and participation in solving local problems. The initiative was created within the framework of the Institute \u201cRespublica\u201d. The project\u00a0\u201cRoadmap for Government\u201d is being implemented with the support of the National Democratic Institute of International Relations.<\/p>\n
