The result will motivate the city authorities for further consultations using the method of public hearings and analysis, sending proposals from indifferent\u00a0<span lang=\"en\">inhabitants\u00a0<\/span>of Uzhgorod.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The inhabitants of the city were offered to choose alternative variants of the scheme of arrangement of bolards on the street Sobranetska. The bolard is a street pillar, a concrete half-sphere designed to block traffic and vehicle parking, as well as to distinguish lawns and pedestrian areas from roads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0288 citizens took part in this\u00a0public consultation, and 127 of them\u00a0voted for the placement of bolards on both sides of the street.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The result\u00a0look like this:<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7920\" src=\"http:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-bolardy.png\" alt=\"\u041f\u041a \u0423\u0416\u0413 \u0431\u043e\u043b\u0430\u0440\u0434\u0438\" width=\"960\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-bolardy.png 960w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-bolardy-300x188.png 300w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-bolardy-768x480.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Taking into account the positive tendency of the project&#8217;s support during the whole consultation time, these semispaces have already been mounted on one of the sites of Sobranetska Street.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also in\u00a0inhabitants of Uzhgorod were asked &#8220;How to organize traffic on Dovzhenko Street from April to May?&#8221;. Well-preserved monuments of architecture combined with the magnificent sakura prompt people to make the photo on the streets in this time. However, this is not very safe given the lively traffic flow.<\/p>\n<p>The consultation was attended by 160 citizens. And they expressed their thoughts as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0for the prohibition of vehicles on holidays and weekends &#8211; 74 votes;<\/li>\n<li>for the prohibition of vehicles on holidays and on weekends from 8:00 to 17:00 &#8211; 30 votes;<\/li>\n<li>against any restrictions &#8211; 56 votes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7921\" src=\"http:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-ruh-na-vulytsi.png\" alt=\"\u041f\u041a \u0423\u0416\u0413 \u0440\u0443\u0445 \u043d\u0430 \u0432\u0443\u043b\u0438\u0446\u0456\" width=\"960\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-ruh-na-vulytsi.png 960w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-ruh-na-vulytsi-300x188.png 300w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/PK-UZHG-ruh-na-vulytsi-768x480.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As we can see, the difference between the votes are insignificant. Therefore, most likely, the city council will not currently accept changes in the organization of traffic on this street.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the same time, the administrators of &#8220;Your Opinion&#8221; system recorded an unfortunate incident. This is an instrument that enables citizens to influence\u00a0on making-decision taken by local governments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Note. All-Ukrainian initiative \u201cActive Community\u201d \u2013 association of people and social movements for self-organization and participation in solving local problems. The initiative was created within\u00a0the Institute Respublica.
