On July 20, the Mayor reported on a live broadcast of the Podillya-Center TV channel for 6 month of his activity. It’s was possible due to the cooperation of two projects (“Roadmap for Government” of the “Active Community” and the “Report on Life” from the Movement “Chesno”) and the regional public TV channel – “Podillya-Center”. These campaigns are designed to change the outdated reporting format for officials on an online live interview.
\nParticipants also took part in live broadcasting: the regional coordinator of the “Active Community” of Kamyanets-Podilskyi Mykhailo Budurovych and the correspondent of the newspaper “Podilsky Visti” Igor Oleksyuk.<\/p>\n

All residents had an opportunity to ask something in the mayor’s office writing a post or comment with\u00a0the hashtag #Ask_Simashkevych or by calling the studio during the program.<\/p>\n
Mykhailo Simashkevych during the reporting focused on the topics:<\/strong> Residents and experts asked about the priority directions of the city development, the development of the historic part of the city, the waste recycling plant, the investment attractiveness of Kamyanets-Podilskyi, the problems of the Cement Plant and plant “Gipsovyk”. The issue of the possibility of entering the canyon into the UNESCO world heritage hadn’t been overlooked. Also projects and plans for road reconstruction, security for tourists and much more\u00a0were discussed by Mayor.<\/p>\n In general, 1.8 thousand people watched live broadcasts and asked about 40 questions (including facebook and phone calls). \n\u2022 construction of a new thermal power station in the city of Kamyanets-Podilsky;
\n\u2022 restoration of the City House of Culture;
\n\u2022 festivals taking place in the city;
\n\u2022 development of tourism and increase of investment attractiveness of the city;
\n\u2022 updating basic assets in the field of education and medicine;
\n\u2022 Improvement of socially vulnerable children abroad.
\nThe head of the city also mentioned about UAH 1.9 million coming to the city, according his speech, thanks to the work of local and regional deputies and deputy of the Verkhovna Rada. These funds will be used for the construction of playgrounds in different parts of the city.<\/p>\n
