In particular, they looked at the specifics of the work of local authorities with delegated powers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5961\" src=\"http:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Aktyvna-Gromada-Sum-5.jpg\" alt=\"\u0410\u043a\u0442\u0438\u0432\u043d\u0430 \u0413\u0440\u043e\u043c\u0430\u0434\u0430 \u0421\u0443\u043c 5\" width=\"1177\" height=\"662\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Aktyvna-Gromada-Sum-5.jpg 1177w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Aktyvna-Gromada-Sum-5-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Aktyvna-Gromada-Sum-5-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Aktyvna-Gromada-Sum-5-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1177px) 100vw, 1177px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The activists did not overlook the practical block during intensive work. So, the participants determined problems of the Sumy, which require the attention of activists. They also evaluated them according to the priorities of the need for a solution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants highlighted the important issues to consider:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Provision of high-quality infrastructure for urban transport (renewal of a transport fleet, the organization of urban transport on the clear schedule, the need to partially supplement certain routes with comfortable buses);<\/li>\n<li>Organization of the maintenance of homeless animals in Sumy;<\/li>\n<li>Solving problems with the maintenance of collection, removal and recycling of garbage (introduction of garbage sorting in the city, investment search for the construction of a garbage processing plant);<\/li>\n<li>Improvement of city design in the context of the comfortable movement for low-mobility population group.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, participants simulated case studies for organizing talks with officials on solving problems that activists take care of.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Institute Respublica<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>participated in the Bucharest Public Initiatives Fair<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About 120 participants from Ukraine, Romania and Moldova exchanged experiences and creative ideas at the Public Initiatives Fair.\u00a0 Oleksandra Skyba, the Deputy Head of the Institute \u00abRespublica\u00bb, presented the All-Ukrainian initiative \u00abActive Community\u00bb to colleagues from Romania and Moldova. 19 initiative groups took part in the event. They talked about their events, promotions and creative projects in social, cultural, public, architectural, infrastructure, environmental spheres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5967\" src=\"http:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika..jpg\" alt=\"\u0406\u043d\u0441\u0442\u0438\u0442\u0443\u0442 \u0420\u0435\u0441\u043f\u0443\u0431\u043b\u0456\u043a\u0430.\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika..jpg 960w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika.-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika.-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aim of the event was to present citizens&#8217; initiatives in different regions of Bucharest, exchange experiences, and establish a dialogue between citizens and officials. About 120 people took part in the event &#8211; active residents, community activists, NGOs, local deputies, representatives of the Parliament of Romania, the police and the social service.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his turn, Oleksandra Skyba presented the history of the All-Ukrainian initiative \u00abActive Community\u00bb. The activity started in 2015 from 2 cities of the Kiev region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5968\" src=\"http:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika.jpg\" alt=\"\u0406\u043d\u0441\u0442\u0438\u0442\u0443\u0442 \u0420\u0435\u0441\u043f\u0443\u0431\u043b\u0456\u043a\u0430\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika.jpg 960w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inrespublica.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Instytut-Respublika-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abWe were worried when we went to the people to ask about the problems and attract them to the solution. Want they to open the door? Want to create their own initiatives and work on problem solving? However, our fears were useless. Today we work in 24 Ukrainian cities in different regions. We implement campaigns, which over a year and a half have attracted more than 60 000 citizens of Ukraine. We have solved more than 156 local-level problems, initiated the adoption of more than 46 decisions by local councils. Everyone presented his initiative briefly, encouraged to join. After that there was informal live communication between the participants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lutsk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Likes, popcorn and <\/strong><strong>\u00ab<\/strong><strong>TomorrowMan<\/strong><strong>\u00bb (<\/strong><strong>hero<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><strong>: how the NGOs were \u00absold\u00bb in Lutsk. <\/strong>The \u00abFair of Public Organizations\u00bb was held in Lutsk, in which activists could \u00absell\u00bb their organizations that fell to their liking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More than 10 youth organizations in the Volyn Oblast Library represented their \u00abgoods\u00bb at the fair. Activists of the Volyn Youth Center hosted the \u00abFair of Projects and Youth Organizations\u00bb, which took place within the framework of the Lutsk Explore\/sion training project. Instead, organizations offered their goods to students: travel, new knowledge and skills, interesting experiences and internships.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the first stage, participants were taught leadership, communication, public speaking, volunteering and self-organization, as well as project planning. The second stage was the fair.
