Over 400 active citizens planted over 630\u00a0trees in 16 cities. The action took place on the eve of the Defender of Ukraine Day and combined the efforts of passionate citizens to thank the Ukrainian military and volunteers defending the security of our country on a daily basis. It also aimed at creating green spaces in cities and serving as a symbol of the will and responsibility of citizens: the trees need to be cared for, watered, for them to grow big and delight the eye of local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/_CIOsjmy1QQmNVJkl3Tdo79hOlZF3sV__aVZJmiXYk93tmY-KWr6pUGcg3tFjqund3SHbpOGsCLPy_vZtXMA9w3pXqO4MXoKB61G9wegxMttKetuyQtV_NOYeElgarQjTMcGQCMs\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cWalkway of Free People\u201d in Kyiv. In the Obolon district of the capital city, the team of the All-Ukrainian Initiative \u201cActive Community\u201d and the organization\u2019s friends planted 18&nbsp;seedlings, including sakura, laburnum tree and tamarisk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The youngest participating activist, named Sviat, was 2 years old. He, as a real man, has already planted his first tree!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the capital city, the action took place in 15 other cities of Ukraine. The events were organized by the regional coordinators of the All-Ukrainian Initiative \u201cActive Community\u201d.
