How often do we face the situations when our rights are violated? And how often we don’t even know our rights have been violated? In fact, the Constitution is a powerful tool with which we can courageously defend our rights. Therefore, “Active Community” All-Ukrainian Initiative held an all-Ukrainian campaign. “Activate the Constitution!” to enable the superpower of the Basic Law full blast<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea of the event was to record a short video (up to 2 minutes) in which a person needed to read one article of the Basic Law of Ukraine of his or her choice and explain how he or she understood it, and what he or she thought about it. Then the person passed the baton to an unlimited number of people. It was also necessary to put the #\u0410\u043a\u0442\u0438\u0432\u0443\u0439\u041a\u043e\u043d\u0441\u0442\u0438\u0442\u0443\u0446\u0456\u044e (Activate the Constitution) hashtag under the video, tag the official page of “Active Community” All-Ukrainian Initiative on Facebook and Instagram, and tag the people to whom the baton was passed.  <\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most active participants <\/strong>that attracted the most people and the participants that recorded and published the most creative video received incentive prizes from “Active Community” All-Ukrainian Initiative<\/strong>: first prize – a book and a branded cup of “Active Community” All-Ukrainian Initiative, second prize – an exclusive eco-bag, third prize – “Active Community” cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In general, all regions of Ukraine took part in the campaign, from the smallest citizens to the elderly. In particular, the daughter of Iryna Serniak, the communication coordinator of “Active Community” All-Ukrainian Initiative of Ivano-Frankivsk, Darynka, recorded a <\/strong>video<\/a> and asked Andrii Stroich, a deputy of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council of the 7th meeting from the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Association party, to join the campaign. His <\/strong>video<\/a> won the 1st prize as the “Most Creative Video”.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such campaigns help to make citizens more active and draw attention to the importance of knowing the Constitution and their rights. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note.<\/strong> The mission of the “Active Community” is to achieve prosperity through the democratic development of Ukrainian communities. The goal for the year 2025 is to activate and involve at least 1% of citizens in decision-making and promotion of reforms in Ukraine on a systemic basis for the well-being of Ukrainian communities. The initiative was created within the framework of activities of the Republic Institute. We work to boost the conscious activity of citizens.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
