Motivation and further plans of the Institute “Respublica” team representatives, who joined EDYN in April this year.<\/b><\/h5>\n

Last year Ukraine was represented in EDYN by only 5 people, most of whom worked on strategic plans. A month ago the Ukrainian team grew to 39, including 4 employees of the Institute “Respublica”. This is a member of the\u00a0<\/span>Institute “Respublica”\u00a0board Lydia Solonukha. This year, three more people joined the team: project manager of the Institute\u00a0“Respublica” Victoria Orysiuk, regional coordinators AI “Active Community” Yuriy Nedzelsky (Lviv) and Lilia Dudnyk (Bakhmut).<\/span><\/p>\n

\"EDYN\"<\/p>\n

They decided to join this organization because EDYN is a platform for promoting democratic values in Ukraine and sharing experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

– The uniqueness and value of EDYN are in uniting around the common values of individuals who, despite different areas of activity, equally respect and cultivate them by their own example, taking an active part in the political and social life of the country, –\u00a0<\/span>says Victoria Orysyuk.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Ukrainian team has held one online meeting so far, because due to quarantine the internal Ukrainian project EDYN Camp had to be postponed. This is a meeting that was to take place in the summer in the Carpathians to meet all the members of the big team in Ukraine and to develop a plan of work on our goals. Meanwhile, the team of the Respublika Institute plans to activate young people, involve them in decision-making processes and form a sustainable pool of young leaders of change in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

– I love EDYN for the fact that, despite different views, political affiliation, religious preferences, sexual orientation, etc., they all adhere to one goal, namely the development of democratic values. We are young change agents, and we want Ukraine to be known as a young strong, independent country that supports democratic values, – says Lydia Solonukha.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Note.\u00a0<\/strong>Mission of the AI \u201cActive Community\u201d: to achieve prosperity through democratic development of Ukrainian communities. Aim for 2025: activate and involvement at least 1% of citizens in decision-making and reform in Ukraine on a systematic basis for well-being in Ukrainian communities. The initiative was created within the activity of the Institute\u00a0\u201cRespublica\u201d. We work to increase the conscious activity of citizens.<\/p>\n
