On March 30th, the communication coordinator of AI “Active Community” in Zaporizhzhia Olesya Lapikova conducted an online training: “Interaction with NGOs and Government Institutions”. The 15 students of the 3rd year of the College of Economics and Law took place in this training. The main task of the training was to talk with young people about the possibilities of influencing the processes of self-government and the development of the city, to learn how to implement its own initiatives.<\/p>\n
During the webinar, the participants discussed about:<\/strong><\/p>\n Only 5 participants of the webinar are active students and they are members of the student council. However, after completion of the training, all participants agreed that they should be more active, engage with NGOs, join to different initiatives and projects in areas which interesting them.<\/p>\n The most important discovery of the webinar was the conclusion: even if you are a volunteer and you don’t get a salary, you help to solve a social problem.
