March 25th Natalia Golovach &#8211; regional coordinator of AI \u201cActive Community\u201d in Rivne held an online training for representatives of the united territorial communities. She told residents of Rivne, Ostroh, and Clevan about management in community. The webinar lasted about an hour and gathered over 15 participants.<br \/>\nDuring the webinar were discussed about concerning management in community and who is responsible for the development of community. The participants learned about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">duties and responsibilities of local governments;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">how citizens can elect their representatives to local government;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">how to participate in the life of a city, village or town during the election\/election period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Equally important to the participants was information about the concept of \u201ccommunity\u201d, as well as about the powers and functions of the mayor. Aim for 2025: activate and involve at least 1% of citizens in decision-making and reform in Ukraine on a systematic basis for well-being in Ukrainian communities. The initiative was created within the activity of the Institute\u00a0\u201cRespublica\u201d.
