About 300 participants from different regions of Ukraine exchanged experience, a story of success and set up a “partnership for change” at a forum in Cherkassy.

On November 23, the third Interregional Forum of Civil Society Institutions “GRANT Change 3.0” was held. The All-Ukrainian initiative “Active Community” was represented by the regional coordinator of Horishni Plavni, Volodymyr Dmytrenko and activist Sophia Makarenko.

They presented the activities of the Institute Respublica within the framework of the “Active Community: Right of Choice” campaign. Also activists distributed manuals “Toolbox for Active Citizens”, leflets “What are the elections for us?” and “Tools of participation”, annual reports of the Institute during the event.

In addition, the activists introduced the Petitioners to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, during the forum, it was possible to collect 118 signatures under the petition on the inevitability of punishment for violating the electoral law.

The aim of the event was to create a platform for the exchange of effective practices of cooperation between NGOs, authorities and business. Also provide participants with new knowledge on how to set up partnerships and implement their own projects through partnership.

“I believe that participation in the largest number of such events adds us the knowledge, helps to spread information about our experiences, initiatives and organization in general. And here it is easy to find like-minded people, activists, supporters and, of course, partners “, – said Volodymyr Dmytrenko, coordinator of the “Active Community” in Horishni Plavni.

Let’s add that for the third time Cherkassy region is gathering a progressive and active part of citizens in order to motivate them to change, to teach them new and to enable them to find new opportunities for further development. This year’s event was held at the initiative of the Department of Regeneration and the Department of Culture and Public Relations of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration. Civic organizations of Cherkasy region and non-indifferent citizens also joined.
